Mindscape, previously known as The Learning Company, publishes and distributes educational, lifestyle, games and value software around the world.  Mindscape is one of the longest established software publishers in the market with well-known international brands and first class licenses such as Paddington, Dream Street, Web Creator and Legacy Family Tree.

Mindscape, led by Jean-Pierre Nordman, operates from a number of offices throughout the world such as France, England, Ireland, Germany, Holland, Asia, Australia and Latin America.  The Group, which currently employs about 150 people, boasts a turnover of approximately €38 million and it's impressive catalogue presents more than 700 products available in several languages.

Montparnasse Multimedia, purchased by the Mindscape Group in April 2002, is a leading French cultural publisher estalished in 1992 from several video game publishing and information technology experts.

The Montparnasse Multimedia catalogue gathers together more than 100 products including essential reference titles such as the Louvre and the Musée d'Orsay.

December 1998 Mattel, the worldwide toy company, buys The Learning Company and renames it Mattel Interactive
December 1995 Softkey purchases The Learning Company
