    Problem:

    Program keeps coming up with a message about windows 95 being required when I try to play it on XP.
    Solution:

    On some users PC the following will resolve the issue:

    Click Start, Programs, Accessories.
    Click on the 'Program Compatibility Wizard'.
    Follow the onscreen prompts, selecting to use the program in the CDROM drive and also selecting Windows 95 when asked.

    Solution:

    This is caused by the MDAC component of Windows being absent or incomplete, so Brain Trainer cannot access its database. MDAC can be downloaded and installed from :

    The game will occasionally crash to desktop when the final results appear at the end of a match. Why does this happen ?
    Solution:

    For some users, the game will randomly crash when the final results screen appears at the end of a match. This issue will be addressed in the upcoming 1.1 Update.

    There is an option in the game to adjust the viewing distance. What does this do ?
    Solution:

    An option to control the far viewing distance in the game world has been included under the Advanced Video tab in the Options Menu. By lowering this setting you may have improved performance but you will not be able to see as far into the game world.

    What are the default keys to quicksave my game ?
    Solution:

    The default keys are F5 to quicksave and F9 to load a quicksave game.
